Finding Information System that is accessible for people with disabilities.

The project’s aim is the design and creation of a system that will recognize the barriers that people with a disability may face in their everyday life so as to help them to achieve the greatest possible self-reliance and to lead a full, active life in society. Furthermore it will facilitate the communication channels through which these people have equal to other citizens, access to information concerning places, transport, and services in the public sector.
Primary goals
• Improve access to information provided by the Citizens Service Centers (KEΠ )
• Assistance provided by specially trained people
• Promote employment – e.g. Handicapped as social workers
• Facilitate the access to info concerning public services (education and healthcare) and public institutions ( justice system and courts and other public activities such as voting and advocacy)
